Special Appeals for Hounds Needing Homes 2
This page is for our hounds who are looking for special homes, and hounds who have been looking for homes for some time.Some of these dogs may have special needs or may have simply been overlooked time and time again for a prettier hound. Each and everyone of our dogs are special in their own way, with a special spirit and heart and everyone one of them deserves the chance of a loving home. In return they will repay your care and commitment with their unconditional loyalty and love.
TETLEY SEVEN YEAR OLD MALE SALUKI LURCHER
Tetley is a Saluki cross Collie, Lurcher about seven years of age, yet another of our overlooked Hounds. He
has been in foster for several months and is a very affectionate, easy
dog, and not a bit of bother. Tetley is currently in foster with three
whippets and has also shared his foster home with another two whippets
and a Chihuahua with absolutely no problem at all, he isn’t however, cat
friendly.
Tetley eats well but isn’t greedy and eats quite happily with the other dogs in his foster home without issue. He also travels well in the car. Apart from one accident on arrival he has been clean in the house and is house trained. Tetley is a pleasure , he has met a lot of people, and he greets them in a very friendly manner. He can on occasion be unsure of young children, so we would ask for a home where there aren't young children, who could upset him.
Tetley needs a home with another dog that will run with him or at least a dog that he can meet up with each day to run with. If you can offer this very special boy a loving, permanent home then please contact us. Tetley is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and flead and wormed. He can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
